Channeling Stevie Wonder
Here she is on keyboards, doing her Stevie Wonder impression. Though Stevie Wonder was never distracted by a picture book about cats. That’s what makes him so special.

Here’s a taste of what Charlotte and Bailey think of each other. (If your workplace frowns upon videos of dogs licking themselves, you might want to fast forward through the first few seconds.)
We need to invest in better lighting, and perhaps hire an editor. But here are the highlights of a recent chat between Charlotte & Bailey.
Little Charlotte’s growing up. Today, she turned four months old. This latest milestone inspired me to break out the video camera and take a quick refresher course on YouTube uploading. As soon as I turned on the camera, Charlotte started showing off.
The rest of these clips are reminiscent of the first animated movies, which were exciting for their novelty but lacking in both plot and action. Now that we’ve mastered moving pictures, however, expect some better clips real soon. (Or lots and lots of uneventful ones.)
We’re not sure what she’s saying, but it feels like she’s making a statement. That statement: “I am in charge.”
You’ve most likely seen this clip dozens of times in the last couple months, but I can’t get enough of it. I play it for Ellen at least once a week. Now it’ll always be easily accessible.
Here’s the Wikipedia entry for the Seinfeld finale. I’m so happy that Wikipedia has entries for such things. Well done.
I’m trying to plow through saved episodes of Flight of the Conchords before my TiVo runs out of space. This scene from episode four had me laughing.
Here’s the same song performed live a few years ago:

Just for kicks, I’m going to start posting my all-time favorite commercials. We’ll start with the classic 1993 Jordan-Bird McDonald’s shootout.
Agency: Leo Burnett. Copywriter: Jim Ferguson. Art Director: Robert Shallcross.
When it comes to making humorous obscure statements, Creed Bratton of The Office is king. For example: “I’ve had enough of this LBJ character” and “Everybody remembers: ‘April showers bring May flowers.’ But no one remembers how the rest of that goes. Which I find so frustrating.”
After doing no research, I’ve decided this brand of humor dates back to Captain Oveur in Airplane! (“Joey, have you ever been to a Turkish prison?”) Norm MacDonald carried the torch into the new millennium with his “USA Today’s News & Views with Larry King” SNL sketch.
Some Larry King examples:
“When it comes to window blinds, vertical blinds are terrific, but so are horizontal blinds.”
“The more I think about it, the more I appreciate the equator.”
“Does anybody remember baseball cards?”
“My wish for the new millennium is that we see a lot more of John Larroquette.”
Too bad I can’t find Norm-as-Larry on YouTube. Anyway, you can read more troubling observations over at Creed Thoughts.
This spoof United Way ad was the highlight of Peyton Manning’s appearance on Saturday Night Live. In my book, throwing footballs at unsuspecting kids is always funny.
