Katie’s First Supper
Katie decided to give food a try this week. While rice cereal wasn’t an immediate hit, I’m pleased to report subsequent meals have been devoured with enthusiasm. Time to revive our old Baby Food Critic conceit.

Grandma Helen and Grandpa Johnny sent Ellen, Charlotte and Katie flowers for Valentine’s Day. Here’s Charlotte’s reaction to the gift, which she first thought came from the mailman.
Charlotte has been learning some new presidential quotes, and she’s teaching her sister. To be fair, I’m not sure William Howard Taft ever said, “I’m stuck in the bathtub, help!” But I didn’t have any actual Taft quotes at the ready. (He did get stuck in the White House bathtub, though.)
As you’ll see, she’s all over the political spectrum. Last week, she was a big Nixon fan. I guess the State of the Union really swayed her.
And somehow Charlie ended up on the AOL homepage last week, too:

I have no idea what that hamburger is all about.
