Goodnight!
Here’s Charlotte getting ready for bed and saying goodnight to Bailey. In case you’re wondering, the “papers” she’s holding are balance statements from my old Renegade Marketing Group 401(k). Kids love 401(k) paperwork.

I’m not feeling too hot—strep throat—so I went to the doctor this morning. I brought Charlotte with me, because tomorrow we’re taking her for a very terrifying bloodletting in advance of her two-year check-up. I thought it might soften her up. She wanted to be very clear that this was Daddy’s doctor, not Charlie’s.
She also really likes the guys who cut our lawn.
Here’s how Charlotte has been spending her last 20 Sunday mornings. In this video, she shows off her skills, takes a few spills, and has great fun putting things away. She was very excited to show her ribbon to Bailey, who promptly tried to eat it (not pictured).

This morning Charlotte completed the first round of her intensive baby gymnastics training.

She felt at home on the podium.

Ellen shot plenty of video, which I’ll be uploading soon.

Charlotte spent the weekend down the shore. She needed to get away.

She prefers the beach when there’s not hundreds of other people on it.

Get excited for lots of beach pics later this summer. She’s got a lot of summer outfits to model.
The kid loves water. Here she is at the Residence Inn pool during our trip to Sesame Place. She’s been a regular at our town pool this week. If you’d like to see her water antics in person, a guest pass is $18 ($18!)
Charlotte agreed to put on a dance recital, but she did not like Ellen’s choice of music. Once they straightened that out, the dance-off was on.
