Cruising for Reading Material

Note to children’s book authors vying for Charlotte’s attention: If you don’t grab her from page one, she’ll move on. Also, adding cats to your books is always a positive.

Well this just about made my month. This morning, Al Roker, Ann Curry & Natalie Morales spent a Today Show segment discussing Stacy Conradt’s blockbuster story on secret menu items at fast food restaurants. I’m going to celebrate with a Neapolitan shake.

Burping the Baby

Take Us Out to the Ballgame

YankeeFamily

In what has to be the greatest groomsman gift in wedding history, my brother-in-law Keith gave me two tickets to today’s Yankees-Red Sox game. All month, I’ve been nervously watching the standings. Tonight Ellen and I attended our first Back to School Night. We were happy to learn Charlotte is not falling behind at not biting other kids.

A Triple Feature

When Bailey lost her tennis ball under Ellen’s dresser, Charlotte tried to help.

If I had a trusty FlipCam about three-and-a-half years ago, I could have caught Bailey trying the exact same thing.

Off to work she goes.

Charlotte Potpourri

We learned a new word this week.

shoes

Also this week: Charlotte became a semi-regular wearer of shoes. Not sure if “happy” has to do with her love of footwear.

Good times.

And in tonight’s final video, Charlotte pets her dog, does the twist, and makes a fancy exit.
