More of the Doc

Forgot to post this one in yesterday’s batch. At this point, she’d been on duty for too long.

Ellen’s mom underwent spinal surgery this past Thursday. And while her medical team included some of the area’s best surgeons, we thought a younger doctor should be consulted about her recovery.

She’s not a doctor, but she plays one on the web.

If Charlotte goes on to medical school (after daycare), we’ll be pleased we staged this photo shoot.

To cover our bases, we should order airline pilot and professional beach volleyball player and Senate Majority Leader costumes.

The Good Doctor had her third round of shots yesterday, so she’s feeling a little off today. Paging Nurse Bailey…

Tomorrow Charlotte turns .5 years old. That’s 3.5 in dog years, but I guess that’s not relevant. In honor of almost reaching halfway to a milestone, here are some recent action shots:

The first full week of 2009 brought lots of change, just like our President-Elect promised.

Ellen went back to work full-time (and started a new position), Charlotte began her academic career, and we put our house on the market.

To Ellen and me, the last five days felt like two months. But the semi-seismic change didn’t seem to faze Charlie.

She’s taking it all in stride.

And after getting all nice and clean, who doesn’t like to spend a few quality minutes in front of a mirror?

With Dr. Sanjay Gupta set to join the Obama administration, perhaps CNN is hurting for contributors.
Here’s a taste of what Charlotte and Bailey think of each other. (If your workplace frowns upon videos of dogs licking themselves, you might want to fast forward through the first few seconds.)
My preseason picks aren’t looking so hot right now. The Giants still have a good shot at the Super Bowl, but the lowly Bills do not. Here are revised predictions:
