Charlotte’s First Christmas (Part 2 of 2)

[See Part 1 here.]

Next stop on the Christmas tour, Grandma Lynn & Grandpa Chuck’s house in Wayne! Click below to see all the great pics.

We could hardly contain Charlotte.

They use good-tasting wrapping paper.

This new dog toy has a lot to teach Charlie, like “This is called an ear” and “Not all dogs have panic attacks when the mail comes.”

Bailey will undoubtedly be jealous.

This Elmo was not for Charlotte. You wouldn’t know it, but Grandma’s a big Elmo fan. You know who’s not a big Elmo fan? Bailey. If we had footage of her freaking out at one of the dancing/skating/juggling Elmo incarnations from a Christmas past, we’d have ourselves a viral video sensation.

The gifts were plentiful.

We’re going to need a bigger house.

In all the Christmas commotion, I never got around to posting photos from Christmas Eve afternoon at Ellen’s aunt & uncle’s house.

Everybody loved Charlie’s fancy shoes (Charlie included). This is the same shoe she was beating the Robert Frost book with earlier tonight (if that doesn’t make any sense, see part 1.)

Child care is a full-contact sport.

Hair pulling is to be expected.

But with an assist from her sister Molly, Emily was able to accomplish something few people can…

…tuckering Charlotte out.

Dogs come in all shapes and sizes. Another lesson learned.

And that gets us back to the beginning of this Christmas story. Hope yours was just as memorable. Happy New Year!
