Her Sunday Best (Behavior)

Charlotte had a busy morning, taking meetings with her great-grandmothers and spending some time with the Zmijeski family.

She held back her tears until her visitors were long gone. Here’s today’s photo diary…

Charlotte and her Great-Aunt Laura (my dad’s sister) got along famously. Laura also brought chocolate chip cookies, which secured her an open invitation for future visits.

Bailey was super excited to hang with my cousins (her second cousins?), Ally & Nick.

Great Uncle Casey was a good sport about Bailey’s incessant crotch-level jumps.

Laura is definitely on the people-we’d-ask-to-babysit-without-feeling-guilty list. It’s a short list.

Next came Great-Grandma Ann English (my dad’s mom) and Great-Grandma Anne Cuff (my mom’s mom). They both had the magic touch—not a peep out of Baby Charlie.

Bailey is dealing with sharing the spotlight. But the light of the constant flash is getting to her.

All that action made Charlotte a tired girl.

Well, all that action, her Miracle Blanket*, and a multi-hour crying fit. (Not Pictured.)
* Thanks to Meghan and Will for suggesting the Miracle Blanket, and to Grandma Lynn for purchasing it. So far, so good.
